Hey all you creative rascals! Is anyone out there involved or looking to be involved in crypto art on NFT sites? Let me know. Thank you.

  • @Sophy Robson That sounds great Sophy. Send me a link.
Thank you. As I mentioned, luckily several of my best friends are crypto traders and enthusiests. They are my market gages. At the moment. It's still the wild west out there at the moment!

  • Hi Eric I’ve been looking into it since the start of this year. Making progress slowly but surely. I was lucky to be given an invite to foundationApp so I’ve got a profile set up on there. Would definitely like to follow your progress and take part in chats
  • @Jasmin Tupper Good! At least you're sticking to it. I know it'll be a long ride- but I thsink it'll sift out well for those whoa re talented on the space. Send me a link to your Inst and Twit and I'll follow you. As I mentioned, I'm following a crypto mentor through this all and will give good advice for success. I did my first drop on Opensea today, when the fees dropped, which they just doubled in the last hour. Are you kidding me?
Here's a link let me know your thoughts- I still have to give her a back story (which she has). https://opensea.io/assets/cosmic-girls-rare-editions
  • @Eric Trujillo Hey, no worries. I'm on Foundation, just cannot afford the fees on there right now. Gas has been insane! Started on Mintable to get a feel for it, and I'm on Nft Showroom. I've been marketing on Twitter and on a bunch of Discord channels. Just the marketing is a full time job. Burned out here. I've seen what they are selling for, lot of plagiarism going on too. Unfortunately I have had no sales except for one. Yeah, it's a ride.
  • @Jasmin Tupper hey! Sorry for the delayed response. I have put myself back into school for this NFT rabbit hole and can share a little light on it. Fortunately I have learned A tonne! I'll share more in the future. But if you want to get into the space now, learn all you can before you do. Have a strategy. Right now that market is in a bubble, which means it could burst in a good and bad way. Collectors are willing to spend top $30K+ on a cryptopunk (as an example) if the bottom falls out. But they maybe willing to buy your art at $3K because they like the art and your (its) story. At least before it bursts you'll have your art minted and have a strategy when all the wannabee artists and junk out there tanks. I'll keep all informed!
  • Super interested! Applied to a bunch of places, never heard back, so I'm sorta in limbo until I figure out my next steps...
  • @Eric Trujillo New territory for many of us, will definitely let you know how it goes.
  • @Jasmin Tupper Thanks for that.
A friend and I are just getting into it. He has quite a bit of experience as a crypto trader and I am looking into it. I'll let you know how it goes. Let me know how you progress, and if you have any success. Keep in touch!
  • Hi Eric, I'm a co founder at Kolect.art and we have all been discussing cryptoart, actually having a Gmeet on Thursday about it. I am a complete newbie, I have tried getting on Makersplace, Rarible, Superare, Nifty to name a few, some have video submissions, never heard back, and then quite often, on the free platforms, the cost(gas) is high, so I'm not keen on paying a lot of money for a "maybe"sale. Still trying figure what time is the cheapest to do that, as apparently the fees differ during the day? I would love to hear more.
