Hey! Anyone have good online learning resources for building an app they would recommend?
I've never built an app before so I'm looking for some advice and pointers to good self-learning content online. Also if anyone has experience in this area and is looking for a new venture, would be great to team up on this - email me at cj@christianjohnstone.com to chat!
Also any general advice on things like protecting your idea from being copied etc would be amazing.
Thanks in advance!

- @John Gorenfeld Thanks John, really helpful and makes total sense! Thought this would be the case, I'd best get onto making it then!
- Your robot music video is cool. Here's what I have learned about protecting against copycats: it's mostly a matter of strong execution of the idea. When I was a kid, I knew a guy who claimed he had invented trivia games before Trivial Pursuit became a big hit. But even though he had hit upon the idea of a trivia board game, his implementation of the idea was clunky and complicated and a lot less appealing than Trivial Pursuit.I feel it's like that. There were lots of less successful Facebooks before Facebook. Like really early, pre-Friendster ones. I am talking about sites with names like "7Degrees.com"...
- Check on Udemy. Alot of great courses on it.
