Hi all! Does anyone have any experience or advice re: running a club night (ideally in London)?
I have skills & connections (I’m a DJ with graphic design & event planning experience and work professionally as a videographer & singer/performer) - it’s more the venue side of things I’m not so sure about. What would I need to approach a venue with this idea?

- @Charlotte Cox thanks for this too! I didn’t really think of them in general - the one venue I have in mind is a pub, actually, but I’ll look into some with more “clubby” spaces.
- Try large Gastro Pubs...I put on a play in a fan one in Tooting...they have different spaces including a space for DJ and music! Can't remember name of venue but just across the main road and right around the corner!
- What type of club night? I've set up Creative Development evenings where anyone with their own Interdisciplinary Arts Project such as: Scripts, Dance, Video design, Performance, Singing etc, could trial their work in progress and also receive positive feedback. Worked wonders as many projects went on to the professional stage etc...I was the Facilitator and as a Performing Arts Director, my energy and being able to bring strangers together, certainly played an important role.
