Hi everyone! Does anyone have any advice on how to get yourself out there when you have only recently graduated?
I've only graduated university this year and I will be returning to uni part-time for a masters very soon but I am still eager to get working. My dilemma is that I obviously have quite limited experience in the industry and find myself struggling to find positions I may fit. So does anyone have any advice for a graduate seeking to break into the industry?

- @Joyce Addai-davis that would be absolutely fabulous! Thank you so much!
- @Joshua Scott I’d love to have a chat with you. I’m a designer who makes clothes for signed musicians and I’m currently looking for help with logistics and designing. I’ve worked with Sony, ITV and the BBC. Would love to chat and offer advice and see how we can work together before you start your MA
- @Joshua Scott And what ever you do, don't play it safe!
- @Joshua Scott thats the attitude to have for sure. Good luck dude!
- @Binod Tamang That's definitely something I'm trying to keep on top of. I gotta keep reminding myself that I'm in it cause I love what I do and I gotta keep producing work and bettering myself as I go.
- @Lewis Hales Good advice. It gets very intimidating coming fresh out of Uni and suddenly being a very small fish in a huge pond but I won't get anywhere if I don't take a chance!
- Do the work you love in personal projects. This will give your potential employer a glimpse into you passions and skill sets. People can always be taught skills, but you need show that spark is there which they can help you build upon. And as Lewis mentioned below keep hitting people up and most of all don't give up!
- Just keep applying for things, dropping people interesting emails either with proposals or thoughts to their brand. Best way to get yourself out their is just taking on any opportunity that comes available
