Hi ! I’m a Art student currently deciding between doing architecture or interior design? Opinions? Looking for person to interview with.
If your an architect or interior designer willing to give me 10min of your time for a short interview I would be thankful.

- Hi Sarah,As a last year architecture student, I highly recommend it, by choosing architecture you can be both an architect and an interior designer (for me I chose sustainable architecture) but the opposite is not possible.
- Hi Sara,Think deeply about what's most important to you, who are you & what do you want to be know for. It's the first step, in possibly many in your career, you're taking.Consider not simply what the difference in work content between these 2 areas is, also how, where, why the work is done & with whom, what synergies do you have with the time, manner & spaces either choice would open up.Either way lots of applications, as many interviews as you can will shape your thoughts & hone your choice.Sorry no direct experience to help...Ben
- Hey, I am a recent Interior design graduate, I would suggest looking into your foundations.What is the reason you want to go into spatial design (interior/architecture), for me I wanted to design houses specifically; so i chose to study interior design.But, while studying I used it as a stepping stone not letting the subject put me into a box or define my creativity. The skills and knowledge i learnt throughout the course allowed me to find like-minded designers who did not go through the 7 year architecture training but still had the knowledge and understanding of how to create buildings and space.If this helped anyone, I am greatful.
