Hiya, does anyone have any advice on how to get started forming a graphic design portfolio from scratch?

- Approach startup/independent brands that match your passions, maybe collaborate with them to create a portfolio you are proud of..That's how I first started approaching bars / independednt restaurants.. not only do you make new friends they also can refer you to new clients for paid work.. :)
- I think the work matters so making sure you have your best pieces of work available, passion projects. the platform will come after ie Instagram, shopify
- Hi Kaitlyn,I would suggest you to put together 5 different projects that showing different kind of skillset or concentraing on an area you would like to specialise in. Try to ask around your circle and offer them to do design even for free so not every project is self initiated. Also research on Behance to see other people's portfolio.
