How do I come to London with my italian theatre company?

Hi! I work as a writer, performer and director for an underground theatre company in Milan, we have 2 active shows right now (in Italian but one of them also translated in English, the actors both speak proper English way better than me) do you know how to find gigs in London or elsewhere in UK? Not necessarily theaters, alternative spaces too. (We played houses, gardens, bars, private parties, even a library). Thanks a lot

  • @Charlotte Cox @transforumtheatrecompany @tallulahschnauzer Hi Charlotte! Thank you very much for your answer, your work seems very interesting, feel free to text me more or send me links about your projects, I’d also love to talk more about moving first steps in performing in the UK, maybe you know something about festivals that could help me
  • Hi Giacomo, I specialise in Directing Physical Theatre, influenced by Commedia Dell' Arte etc and Practitioners such as Dario Fo and Franca Rame and have collaborated with mainly Italian casts while Directing and Performing in such plays as Pirandello's Six Characters in Search of an Author. I always like to combine both languages within a play. We performed at the very beautiful Rose Playhouse in Southwark and a good place to start in order to get information with regards your Company, is The Italian Cultural Centre...I'm sure they would be very excited to have you come over.By the way, just for your interest, I have been given an English Translation of a Dario Fo Piece, interpreted by his friend who asked me to Direct it! This piece has never been performed before. I rehearsed and completed the R&D...Research and Development but then ran out of money, then COVID came!
