How does one get remote writing work from UK/US? Is sponsorship mandatory for remote work also?

The first thing I see with US/UK remote internship, they only hire people studying in college. Is it necessary to be in college to get a remote internship?

Secondly, how do you guys apply to the job. I mean 99% of JD doesn't give any email or phone number to apply to. When you dive deep to apply via link, it mostly gives space for CV but not portfolio. I've a big portfolio with many files and links. I mean how do one impress recruiter with CV, and no portfolio. Someplace you can LinkedIn link and one file/link that's it.

Why there's not a simple way to apply to even remote writing jobs?

It's too cumbersome with a heck of details but no email of HR to ask job-related questions.
