How to beat a dreary Tuesday? Taking back control of my creativity and making the freelance leap - seeking production/ writing opportunities

After fighting the doubt cast by well-intentioned curiosity of the why, when and what led me to make the choice to leave the grind of a stable job and notable company (the answer is right here) I'm leaving my role as Project Manager and Copywriter at Conde Nast Publications to start my freelance career.

I'm a young (do I still qualify?) creative establishing myself in the production world, with professional experience managing print publications and digital marketing including large-scale shoots for interior design and travel advertising, with a background in fashion and culture. That's before we get into all the stuff I get up to outside of the 9-5.

So while I spend my time pretending I haven't just quit my soaring career to be an artist - sorry mum - I have a few free days left to fill next month. Alongside the exciting projects I'm set to join, I'll be pitching (to my fave mags), painting and photographing - so watch this space. If you have a project that you feel I might be a good fit for, or just fancy a chat to find out more about my work, get in touch!

And check out my website, christieberry.co.uk, I've been told it's good for some light-hearted relief from the stresses of a Tuesday afternoon (or Wednesday, Thursday or whatever day you may be seeing this)
