I’d like some advice, I’m currently a photographer but I am also looking to become a graphic designer. Any tips on where to start/courses?

- Hi Chloe, I would look at college courses either near to you or distance learning you could do, in my own experience a HND was much, much more useful than a degree and gets you much more industry ready. As an intro I would recommend going onto Udemy, and looking at a couple of the design courses that Lyndsey Marsh does – she's a very good tutor, I've done several of her courses and she explains things very clearly as well as producing nice designs and a very good range of guides and resources that you can download and keep from the courses. Her page is here https://www.udemy.com/user/lindsay-marsh/ an example of one of her courses is here https://www.udemy.com/course/graphic-design-theory-for-beginners-course/ – they often do discounts on there so you can get these courses for about £10-12 which is worth it in my opinion (as a disclaimer I don't profit in any way from these links, just a case of having done a few of her courses I think they'd be useful to others!)
- Thank you everyone for your replies, I’ll look into your suggestions

- Have a look on the New Designers website - https://www.newdesigners.com/be-part-of-new-designers-2021/Also, possibly https://www.tes.com - whilst essentially a jobs board for education, all colleges go through them. Finally search colleges in areas that you'd like to study.Good luck : )
