If you just won a £1000 grant to start an online magazine, how would you spend it?

This is a real question lol. A friend of mine from SOAS and I just won a small grant and we are looking for the best things to invest in to solidfy sustainablity. Any ideas?

  • @Matt Frawey Thank you Matt! A high quality product is definitely important.
  • @ɐɹoᗡ ɐuu∀ ˥ our aim is to showcase the work of students and professionals prodominantly in the art sector, as well as provide a plaform for our audience to connect with each other, recieve peer to peer review and collaborate on projects. The Dots is actually a great example of the community aspect we're going for, but our focus is to affectively curate a group of badass narratives that get the creative juices flowing for students just entering the industry.

Thanks for the feedback, campaigns it is!
  • 50% to make the best product possible. So if you could benefit from branding / design help get that.
    50% on marketing / promotion.
Also take your time, you don’t have to spend it immediately =]
  • Hi Ariel,

I would say it depends on the aim of the magazine. But generally you should spend things on somewhat activation campaign.
