International call now open to submissions: The Bath Open Art Prize 2023
The call for entries to the 11th Bath Open Art Prize is now open, with a deadline of 11th September. Fringe Arts Bath's ever popular and inclusive annual prize, with prizes to be won and an exhibition of selected works coming to 44AD artspace, Bath, UK from 12th to 28th October 2023.
Inviting Artists from anywhere in the world to submit, all media are welcome, as are all Artists: emerging, those who prefer to operate beyond the gallery-based scene, and those more established, reflecting organiser Fringe Arts Bath's commitment to promoting the full range and breadth that visual arts can encompass.
Judges Jon Bennington and Andrea V Wright will select works for a group exhibition and award 1st & 2nd prizes. Prizes include £500 and £250 cash, the Solo Exhibition Opportunity, and the new Emerging Artists’ Award.
Entry is £20 for one artwork, or £30 for up to three artworks*.

Your entry fee goes towards exhibition production costs for the Bath Open Art Prize, which is all organised by volunteers, and the sponsors kindly provide the prizes. Any excess funds go towards our other projects, mainly Fringe Arts Bath Festival.
