Looking for a freelance Design & Creative Marketing Assistant for onlychildstore.com & onlychildstudio.co.uk
We are looking for a creative all-rounder who has an excellent graphic design portfolio as well as a solid understanding of contemporary culture and design and style, relating to mainly but not exclusively to the fashion, interiors and music industries. Someone who is interested in learning the ropes of, as well as being an integral part of, a small but efficient creative team that is currently building momentum, someone who can work seamlessly across multiple varied creative projects as well as in aid the development of our in-house brand. Ideally someone with an interest in creative mareketing and communcations.
An overview of some of the tasks that the Design & Creative Marketing Assistant would be expected to undertake are:
- Assisting with Creative Direction projects. Contribute to delivering high-quality research and design work aligned with the specific project briefs, whilst always showcasing creative and innovative thinking.
- Assisting with assembling design presentations for Creative Direction and Interior Design projects.
- Ad-hoc assisting with Interior Design projects.
- Producing new and imaginative content for socials and mailers as well as websites, promotional materials, gif’s etc etc. using existing and upcoming product imagery.
- Assisting with some of the new graphic and print designs for new product ranges.
- Target market research.
- Researching and implementing marketing & promotional strategies.
- Help to plan and manage launch of new products.
- Elevating product descriptions.
- Potentially assisting on shoots if and when necessary.
- Ad-hoc studio based tasks, we're a small team and we need flexibility across all of our roles.
Hybrid – Remote working with occasional days in studio (Hackney Downs E5) or East/Central London based meetings. Working closely with Creative Director & Studio/Production Assistant. There will be an opportunity assist across the full width of the ONLYCHILD brand from e-commerce and social media to all areas of design and marketing.
Initial term: Start ASAP. Freelance, 8-12 weeks, 2 days per week, with potential to extend depending on workload and candidate. This could be the start of something real good...
