Looking for paid work/an intern role. I'm open to social media, editorial, writing & content creation (preferably in music & culture).
I have an educational background in graphic design, media studies, communication & culture, and magazine journalism & publishing where I gained the relevant skills to curate both print and digital features. I'm now confident in editing and curating engaging content, fluent in adobe creative suite, and can write research based features.
I recently interned with 9Bills - an online music & culture platform from November 2022 to July 2022. My responsibilities as a website editor include editing and publishing press releases, optimising and proofreading blog posts written by myself and my peers weekly using wordpress and standard microsoft programmes. On top of this, I use my initiative to provide editorial support for music promotion, this includes curating and scheduling engaging social media content daily, attending live events, and admin support.
I also have over 6 years experience in public facing roles where I dealt with clients, customers, and patients ensuring needs were met and I maintained a warm and friendly manner.
