Please share theme suggestions for an art residency programme in Yunnan Province, China. We provide one month accommodation. See photos.

We want to introduce international perspectives to this regional programme located in Bai ethnicity self-governing prefecture. Yunnan is one of the most diverse provinces in west-southern China.

We have narrowed down the disciplines to eco-feminism, sustainability, ecology, and bio-art. What would be a good theme to kick off? I am thinking 'mountain'. We are waiting for your advice!

The cottage is managed by my partner Alberto who is originally from Italy. I am in discussion with a professor in humanities and a professional American-Palestinian artist, either of which would be safeguarding the quality of this programme.

The projected start date would be in November or December when the weather becomes mild, and warm, in the winter season in the northern hemisphere.
