Recommendations on a point and shoot film camera with decent / sharp focus ?
I’m currently using a Samsung Vega 140s but sometimes the focus can be super off in low light, does anybody have any recommendations for a sharp focus point & shoot 35mm film camera ? (Just one to carry around with me)

- Point and Shoot - you are talking about cameras which could be classed as Vintage and aren’t necessarily serviced. There are a large number of Olympus Trips out there but these are manual focus. There are early ones which have been serviced and had the leather replaced. If you are looking for a camera with the lens “built in” then Contax T2 is quoted as being one of the best. It had a prime lens or the TVS has a zoom lens.I use film cameras but I like range finders and use a Leica M3 but it’s certainly not a P & S.I found this article which is quite interesting-https://shootitwithfilm.com/5-best-point-and-shoot-film-cameras/I know sharpness was important to youso the majority of zoom lenses willnot give you the sharpness a prime will. You can turn a prime lens into a zoom lens with addition of feet.Good Luck in your search
- Contax G2 even though it’s not 100% realiable
- Contax T2 or T3Yashica T4 or T5
