Saying more with less...

How important is blowing out concept art down to the last brush stroke? When trying to sell a client on ideas, I've found that simpler, black and white frames/concepts, even rough shots are far more effective in drawing in clients. Sort of like drawing them in on the ground floor, they see the beginnings of an idea, and there's room to breath, an opening of the door into what can be. Later on down the line, you can blast away with A.I. or photo-realistic work after many things are decided on, but at the start, sometimes it's best to start the journey with some options...
