UK Artists wanted - Puffin Re-imagined
We’re on the lookout for paper engineers, felters, air dry clay potters, or any artist working with physical mediums from underrepresented demographics; BAME creators, LGBTQI+ makers, and artists with disabilities are welcome to apply.
Puffin is one of the UK’s biggest publishing houses for children, with a library of books that span from 1940 to the present day. This year we’d like to illustrate scenes from books from across our list in a project we’re calling Puffin Re-Imagined. We’re looking for 2 artists to each bring to life a scene, character, memory or feeling from a book they love that we publish. For example, they could re-create what the March Sisters (Little Women) might look like today, the dreamy road to Anne of Green Gables’ school, their favourite sword fight from Percy Jackson.
Please note we have filled our quota for illustrators for the time being.
