Want to gain experience in copywriting/blog writing to build my portfolio. But not sure where to start... any advice please?
Please note, I already have a blog which I write regular posts for, looking for advice on building a professional portfolio. Approaching businesses? Finding opportunities?

- @Matt Saunders Hey Matt, I haven’t done a lot so far. I’m just coming to the end of my online course in copywriting so wanted to get a start on things before I finish. I’ve had a blog for the last 3 years that I’ve used to publish some travel related content, but I don’t have any contacts to get some professional experience.
- Hi Issy. Medium is a good place if you want to start building a portfolio; you can also earn quite good money on here (you're paid per read and by read-time), but it's worth noting it takes time to build a readership and earnings can vary wildly month-to-month. - You could try Copify - you have to do a short copywriting test and once you've been approved you can pick and choose the jobs you want to do.
- Hi Issy, what have you done to build your portfolio so far? The reason I ask is that there are plenty of avenues to take but to give good advice it would be helpful to know your journey to date.
