What cut should a graphic designer/illustrator get for an NFT music release?

- @Samuel Ryan Wow, thanks a lot for this Sam. This is really interesting, I've been searching for a write up about NFTs like this since I first heard about them! And on a side note: as a Minecraft veteran thank you for the Wiki! God only knows how many hours I've spent on that thing, incredibly helpful stuff. :~)
- @Ela Stipicic Amazing, thanks for the advice!
- @Maxim Turrent I think that depends what the agreement is between the two. Diplo, Grimes and Deadmouse released work in collaboration with visual artists. I started making music recently and I am collaorating with a friend to drop NFT's where she is making the visuals, so we will just split the profits - if there are any. Be careful to choose the right site and get your work pushed out there.
- @Sophy Robson That's a good idea! I'll definitely do that, thanks so much for your help!
- @Maxim Turrent I’m not sure unless you’re a credited artist. As it’s a new area it’s an interesting topic. I would suggest having a look on Twitter for similar instances. The NFT community on Twitter are very helpful and keen to invite new concepts and people in
- @Sophy Robson Oh that's interesting, not even in a collaborative way? I've tried to familiarise myself with the concept but it's just too alien to me, I think the assumption is I'll be paid a flat fee for the designs but I'm debating whether or not to ask for a percentage of the sale or something
- Did you discuss that as part of the design process ? From what I’ve heard you can’t use another artists work as part of your own in an NFT
