What does 'Legacy' mean to you?

I'm currently participating in designing an app as part of the Digital Product Design course created by YSYS. The theme of our brief is 'legacy'. A legacy brings to mind something that has left an imprint in our consciousness. It can be a story, an event, a person, a community. It can be positive or negative but often it is a balance between the two. It involves contradictions that reflect the complex nature of life. I'd like to know:

1. What is a legacy that means something to you?
2. Why is it important?
3. How do you celebrate/ remember it?
4. What if you could record it in some way-how would you do this?
5. How are you involved in making/ creating this legacy? What are doing toward your legacy?
6. What role does technology play in creating/ writing your legacy?
7. What are the challenges you face in creating your legacy?

I would especially love to hear what anyone between the ages of 16-30 has to say, however, any answers are appreciated!
