What the hell is The Brand Magic Index?
I'm not sure if the correct definition for a moment like this in our particular history is to confront it or resign ourselves, but with the avalanche of 'artificial intelligence' surrounding us lately, it's almost impossible or unlikely that we'll have a setback in that regard. But don't get me wrong. I belong to that segment of users and professionals who are delighted and excited by the possibility of integrating our daily activities alongside engines of logical discernment of this caliber. Not long ago, I wrote a small article where I expressed my opinion but also elaborated a bit more on the details of the Brand Magic Index, the latest data treat that comes to us from the folks at The Business of Fashion and the Quilt research lab.
While the tool's title might be somewhat pretentious technically, it's nothing more than a product that extends the scenario a bit more and allows us to see beneath the surface characteristics that, until recently, were difficult for us to quantify. After all, how can we begin to measure the values and ideals of a brand? While this tool goes beyond that, providing us with real-time interpretations and segmenting them into 'natural language' for our understanding, I believe it's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to addressing the early stages of a strategy that, in my opinion, should remain simple, practical, but filled with information behind the scenes.
