Shot in the breathtaking desert of the Afar region in Ethiopia, “A Piece Of Me” is a visually stunning campaign that celebrates the strength and stories of women who refuse to be defined by their past trauma.
Produced in collaboration with UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, “A Piece Of Me” tells the story of Zahra, Abida and Khadija, three survivors of female genital mutilation (FGM), with the aim of raising global awareness of the urgent need to take action to help end FGM.
This special one-day exhibit on 8th July at Protein Studios, produced by Somewherelse, will bring to life “A Piece Of Me” via multimedia, site-specific installations to inspire and educate.
Open to the public: 1pm-6pm.
