Join us for an audio-described talk on Titian’s 'The Death of Actaeon'

About
Join Gallery Educator Carlo Corsato for an audio-described talk on Titian’s 'The Death of Actaeon'. This talk has been specially designed for blind and partially sighted audiences, but we welcome everyone to experience paintings on this multi-dimensional level.
The talk will delve into the intricate details of Titian’s masterpiece, exploring the painting through audio description, music, and sounds. We will be telling the story of Actaeon’s supernatural transformation into a stag, how he was cursed by the goddess of the hunt, Diana, and why he was eventually killed by his hounds.
We will be transported into the scene and understand the painting in a new and unique way with the help of an original musical composition.
