A selling exhibition of drawings, prints and works on paper from students graduating from the Royal Drawing School’s postgraduate programme, The Drawing Year 2024 at Christie’s, London.
Christie’s is pleased to host the The Royal Drawing School for a selling exhibition of contemporary drawings and works on paper by students studying on The Drawing Year postgraduate-level programme. The exhibition offers a range of work, rich in observation, imagination and storytelling. The graduating artists come from a variety of backgrounds and creative disciplines, including painting, printmaking, animation, illustration, product design, architecture, textiles, sciences, and languages.
The Royal Drawing School is the independent, artist-led and not-for-profit home of observational drawing. The School was founded by HM King Charles III along with artist Catherine Goodman in 2000.
An expanded exhibition of over 500 drawings will be shown at the Royal Drawing School’s gallery in Shoreditch at 19–22 Charlotte Road, EC2A 3SG, from 4 December 2024 onwards, and can be viewed online at royaldrawingschoolexhibits.org.
