We are excited to relaunch the 'Big Snake Ziggzagging in Me' project with Dhan Ribeiro’s virtual photographic exhibition, on Thursday 22nd April 2021. The opening event will include a brief presentation of the project status by Katerina Barampouti, Kyara Orlando and Dhan Ribeiro, space for Q&A and the official release of the virtual exhibition link. The exhibition will be available for 35 days and will close with an online performance by artist and project curator Katerina Barampouti, on May 26th.

A few words about the project: 'Big Snake Ziggzagging in Me' initiates an inquiry about how we relate to nature: to the environment and to ourselves. Following an inter-disciplinary format, it uses the myth of the Great Cobra (Cobra Grande) as a reference point: This myth permeates the Amazonian territory and talks about the fertile life-force that is perpetually creating the world - and that we carry within our DNA.

Through a series of performances by artist and actor Kyara Orlando, a photographic narrative by shaman and photographer Dhan Ribeiro, and other art events directed and curated by artist and healer Katerina Barampouti, this project evokes the enchantment of our physical world that manifests in spirit and myth, suggesting a creative relationship with all the existential dynamics that make our planet so special.
'Big Snake Ziggzagging in Me' project was launched online on 12th November 2020 with an immersive performance, discussion and mini-workshop. A physical exhibition and a series of art events and live workshops will take place at the Hive gallery in July 2021.
