What's it about?
The digital skills gap is a longstanding industry problem, with HR & People teams often frustrated by a lack of quality candidates for key positions. But more and more businesses now are turning to creative and digital apprenticeships to successfully tackle this challenge – this roundtable (run by BIMA's Apprenticeships Council) aims to generate honest conversation around the topic.
Why attend?
The key topics we will cover are:
  • key concerns and misconceptions about apprenticeships
  • where to go and who to partner with if you want to get started
  • how to attract the right kind of candidates into your business
  • the internal ops challenges often faced when supporting apprentices
  • how to use them to up-skill existing staff
Who's it for?
This roundtable discussion is perfect for you if:
  • you work in the People department, in a company that wants to find and nurture new industry talent
  • you're on your company's Talent Acquisition team, considering new ways of filling entry-level roles besides grads
  • you're the hiring manager for a creative or digital team, wondering if an apprentice could be a great new addition
Places for this are limited to 12 attendees to allow for discussion. As a special bonus, those who participate in the roundtable will also receive a free half-hour 1-2-1 consultation with a BIMA Apprenticeships Council member. You can ask questions about your unique company challenges and discuss how and where an apprentice could integrate into your wider team.
The Chatham House Rule applies and places are strictly limited to one per organisation. BIMA Members only - email events@bima.co.uk for the code to book for free.
