About this event
BIMA Beyond | The Debates
Two weeks and a nationwide series of events designed to bring clarity, insight and inspiration to an increasingly uncertain world.
Under the theme of opportunity vs responsibility, from 27 June to 8 July 2022, BIMA, its Councils and wider community will host talks and debates all over the country, encouraging localised, safe face-to-face events, that challenge and inspire.
Manchester debates How to Create and Retain Talent at All Levels
Join BIMA on Wednesday 6 July for a lively series of talks followed by drinks and networking, kindly hosted by brilliant BIMA Members, Kin & Carta.
Our lineup of speakers will be discussing how we create, retain and maintain talent within Manchester and make sure we nurture digital talent at all levels throughout a quick-fire sequence of 10 minute case study presentations and live Q&As. We'll be joined by:
  • Richard Lamb discussing the Jellyfish Academy and their progressive structure,
  • Zoe Wallace from Agent Academy will discuss those starting their careers in digital ,
  • Claire Heaviside from Serotonin talking about their remarkable growth and how this is due to sticking to their plan without being distracted by the pandemic ,
  • Caroline Canty from Craft Coaching will be talking about Bad Managers and how they are costing businesses their talent,
  • Diana Erksine from AND.Digital will speak about Senior Leaders and how to retain talent at a higher level.
As this is our first in-person BIMA event in Manchester for some time, we will have some drinks afterwards with a chance for members and non-members to network and chat about how we can create a thriving, positive and buzzing BIMA community in Manchester.
