Ali believes that business should be a force for good, and wants the fruit of his life’s work to be in economic development. He grew Coconut Merchant from zero to a revenue of £7 million. How? Lots of hard work (and coconut oil!) and by using Amazon to challenge the largest incumbent brands, then leveraged this success to get listings in all the major retailers (Tesco, ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Ocado) and export to over 15 countries.
Zamir founded a digital marketing agency, UKWebCo, which he ran from 2004 to 2012 before founding consumer electronics brand, iQualTech, that he launched on Amazon in 2013 and successfully grew across Europe, the US and India on the platform. Zamir co-founded This Way Up in 2019. He has helped over 100 brands, in 10 marketplaces, on four platforms and generated over £65 million in sales.
