Contribute to a collaborative matchbox sculpture and network with other creatives at this informal workshop for young people aged 18-30.
In this workshop, contribute to a collaborative artwork as well as getting a taste of what it's like to be an Assemblage Collective member, learn more about us, what we do, and how you can get involved.

Learn what assemblage sculpture is and discover the inspiration behind the workshop - the story of the Foundling Hospital and the work of Brazilian artist Lygia Pimentel Lins (23 October 1920 – 25 April 1988), better known as Lygia Clark.

We will be building an assemblage sculpture together using individually designed matchboxes. We'll have a range of materials to play with including vintage paper ephemera, paint pens and more to make all your collage dreams come true!

We also ask that you bring:
Anything that is sentimental to you that could fit inside or be glued to a matchbox. It needs to be something you are willing to contribute to a collaborative artwork.
