Educators, join us for two online workshops developed by artist Jade de Montserrat.
Applications are open from 9 May until 26 May 2023 for secondary school educators to join two online workshops developed by multi-disciplinary artist Jade de Montserrat. These will explore key questions around self-image and identity in relation to young people aged 11 to 16.
Following the workshops, Serpentine will develop an educational resource in collaboration with Jade de Montserrat to be distributed to schools across the UK. This informative physical and digital guide will bring together content developed from workshops with artists, activists and educators, and will aim to help educators create a space for conversations around self-image and identity among young people.
We’re seeking educators across the UK working in subjects such as Art, History, ICT, Digital Technology and Critical Theory at secondary schools. Educators applying in pairs from the same school are encouraged as well as educators applying as individuals. Applicants from a diverse range of settings and experiences (NQT, SENCO, Head Teacher etc.) are encouraged to apply.
