Have a go at reversing global warming with this brand new board game. We'll also be joined by the game's designer to talk about coop gaming.

About this event
Daybreak is a new cooperative board game about stopping climate change. It's designed by Matt Leacock (of Pandemic fame) and Matteo Menapace.
Daybreak is hot off the press and ready to be played.
We're lucky and proud that Daybreak's co-designer, Matteo Menapace, is part of the SPACE4 community. Matteo will be joining us to talk about why cooperative games are important. He'll also facilitate our experience of playing.
There'll be three game tables, plenty of drinks, a few snacks, and lots of good chat. We won't aim to finish the gameplay (though it's not out of the question). Instead we'll leave time to discuss the experience of playing.
Visit the Daybreak website or BackerKit for more information about the game.
Natasha, our events programmer, played Daybreak in April and says:
"The realism of the gameplay and the attention to detail is really impressive. Daybreak helped me understand the connection between the political, social, and scientific elements of the climate crisis without being boring or didactic. I feel like everyone should play it at least once."
