Join this workshop to learn how to create a unique lino-printed poster inspired by the colourful designs of Yinka Ilori and Morag Myerscough.
Suitable for children aged 8– 11.
What to expect
In this creative workshop, young people will be taught how to create their own poster using the technique of lino-cutting. They will learn how to make a series of graphic lino blocks and create a repeat pattern to carve a beautiful drawing.
This workshop will teach the skills to carry on lino printing at home.
What they will learn:
- Lino cutting and carving
- Print design
- Pattern repeats
Please note that all equipment, materials and light refreshments will be provided for the duration of the session, but you must bring a packed lunch.
