Family Takeover with Habiba Nabisubi

Join Artist and Illustrator Habiba Nabisubi for this series of workshops inviting children and accompanying adults to create art together.

Free, drop-in (booking advised)
Open to all types of families, children must be accompanied by an adult for the full session (advised for children 3yrs+)
These fortnightly sessions will use a variety of materials and approaches to create unique artworks.
Designed for children and guardians working together the Family Takeover series is led by artists and encourage experimentation, exploration and play.
Our workshops are accessible to all, may be messy and all materials will be provided!
These sessions are designed for adults and children working together, activities may be messy!
The programme is supported by a Cultural Education and Learning Support Fund from Camden Council.
Session 1: Saturday 27 April
Fantastical Birds
Inspired by Andrew Omoding’s exhibition, the abundant ornithology of Uganda and it’s national bird The Crested (Crowned) Crane participants will use a range of materials to make bird sculptures and create and decorate crowns together.
Further sessions will run on Saturday 11th May, Saturday 25th May, Saturday 8th June more details to follow.
