Legal Hot Topics and Trowers Top Tips
Charlotte Clayson, Partner & Litigator at Trowers & Hamlins LLP and Nicola Ihnatowicz, Employment Law Partner, Trowers & Hamlins LLP
AI is a hot topic at the moment, with many organisations looking at how AI and new technologies can be used to improve the bottom line. Following a swathe of recent headlines either extolling the virtues of AI, or warning of the end of civilisation as we know it, Charlotte will cut through the noise and look at how AI can drive profitability in the recruitment sector.
  • How can AI improve efficiency and decision making in the recruitment sector?
  • What are the risks for the recruitment sector of investing in AI?
  • What does the future really look like?
Employment Partner, Nicola will also provide an update on the Government's proposed reforms to holiday pay.  Affecting all staff with variable hours or remuneration (including agency staff, temps, and salaried staff on commission or overtime) the rules on holiday pay have been an ongoing headache. Nicola will provide an update on the consultation on reforms and how to mitigate the risk of claims in the meantime.
