In this seminar, industry experts will share how photographers can earn income by marketing their fine-art photography and what they need to know before they sell limited edition or open-edition prints via exhibitions, art fairs or online flash sales. Magnum Photographer Jacob Aue Sobol will explain how he built his own online store to sell books, prints and posters, and discuss the rewards and challenges of managing his online sales while also selling fine-art prints through galleries. Attendees will also gain helpful advice on exhibiting and selling work online and in brick-and-mortar galleries from an experienced gallerist, and hear how to forge lasting relationships with collectors, curators, and lovers of photography to preserve the lasting value of your art.
