This session will provide practical steps to reach your target audience.
This session is only for London College of Fashion students and graduates. It is aligned to your Graduate Futures enterprise journey.
Market research is essential to understand business opportunities. Every business needs to develop a clear strategy to reach consumers, stand out from competitors and explore the best opportunities in the market. For this reason, undertaking comprehensive market research is essential to determine the viability of your product or service idea.
In this webinar, you will learn the tools to identify your target audience, differentiate your business and plan your market positioning with confidence.

Mirela de Lacerda Barbosa, LCF Graduate Futures Enterprise Consultant: With 20 years of experience in the fashion and beauty industries, Mirela’s work combines research, strategy, and cultural aspects in order to create strong brand stories. A background as a fashion journalist and lecturer, allowed her to understand market challenges from different perspectives, which led to the research of archetypes as a branding strategy. During her MA Fashion Entrepreneurship and Innovation course at LCF, the concept was further explored in case studies about British brands. In 2016, she launched Project M London, an emotional branding consultancy aimed at start-ups and middle-size businesses. Since 2020, working as an Enterprise consultant she has been expanding her coaching and mentoring skills by supporting students and alumni on their entrepreneurial journeys.
