We are absolutely buzzing to announce the third installment in our four week series of KHARITES: a collaborative knitting workshop with Colèchi 🧶🧶
Join us next week Tuesday from 3-6 for our collaborative session of Colèchi’s seminal You Can Knit With Us club.
We will be providing needles and yarn, and Colèchi and The Piece Palette facilitators will be on hand to guide any of your crafty knitting needs 🐣
This will be an opportunity to connect and craft with other creatives, have a look at the wonderful work exhibited by our artists, and rest in the leisureliness of the KHARITES x
ABOUT KHARITES:
THE KHARITES were three goddesses thought to embody grace, beauty, creativity, adornment, joy, festivity, dance and song.
Hosted by The Piece Palette, the KHARITES event series seeks to explore these themes and ideas and offer a space for creatives to conceptualize and innovate through a lens of female artistry 🪐
Incorporating exhibitions, panels, workshops and screenings, the series will examine how we define beauty and creativity in the modern world, and how the divine and ethereal are weaved between the threads of our work 🦢
The events will aim to create a limitless space where participants can explore, create, and exhibit their work alongside other female-identifying and non-binary creatives.
KHARITES were thought to preside over the pleasures of life including play, amusement, happiness, rest and relaxation. Through this series, we will explore how this translates into art today, and how we can slow down and embrace the playfulness of the Kharites within our fast-paced contemporary world 🏹☁️
