National Lottery Project Grants is Arts Council England’s open access programme for arts, museums and libraries projects.
About this event
Grants are available in two streams: applications for under £30,000 which receive a decision in 8 weeks, and applications for over £30,000 which receive a decision in 12 weeks. Accredited and non-accredited museums can apply for Project Grants.
If you are interested in applying or to find out more, we’d like to welcome you to a presentation led by Arts Council England’s Museum Relationship Managers for London. The presentation will cover eligible types of museum and collections projects, our strategy Let’s Create, the application and decision-making process, tips for good applications, and will leave time for a Q&A session.
The presentation will also cover Unlocking Collections, our Time-Limited Priority for Project Grant applications for re-interpretation of collections, reviewing collections, and using digital tools. This Time-Limited Priority will close at the end of March 2023.
Who is the session for?
This presentation is designed for museum applicants based in London who want to understand the basics of the application process.
Please note: our Project Grants guidance, application form and decision-making process was refreshed in 2021 to reflect the Arts Council's new strategy, Let’s Create. The session is therefore relevant to new applicants as well as previous applicants who applied before 2021.
Who will be leading the presentation?
The session will be led by staff from the London Visual Arts and Museums team.
