Designers may have heard the phrase designing at scale, but what does the concept actually mean? Is it running larger projects with more designers involved or designing for a growing user base? Raphael Grignani, Director of Product Design at Facebook, sheds light on what it means to design at scale for an app with more than 1.3B users around the world - the decisions that need to be made, the challenges faced to stay organized, as well as the solutions to best tackle these challenges.

As an emerging designer how do you get noticed and get ahead in the creative industries?
Fabio Novembre will speak from his own experience in a keynote talk, followed by a panel discussion with industry experts including Linda Roberts, Director of Business & Innovation, London College of Fashion; Hannah Robinson, Programme Manager for Architecture Design and Fashion at the British Council and Julian Vogel, CEO Modus BPCM.

An offsite talk in Stratford, the future location of V&A East. Arrive early to enjoy drinks and canapes at the top floor of 1 Westfield Avenue, with some of the best views of the London skyline from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to the Shard. Drinks and networking will continue after the talk and panel. 
Doors open at 6.30pm, talk from 7pm and drinks from 8pm.
