Join leading artist and photographer Joy Gregory for a lumen printing workshop at UNIQLO 311 Oxford Street in partnership with Art on the Underground.
Lumen printing is a camera-less photographic technique which captures the imprint of objects laid on light sensitive paper and exposed to UV light in painterly hues. We encourage attendees to bring any small 2D objects they might like to include in their lumen print.
Joy Gregory is internationally renowned for her influence on British feminist photography and social justice movements. She uses photographic media, including Victorian photographic printing techniques like Lumen printing, to re-illuminate forgotten cultural, historical and political narrative and was recently awarded the 2023 Freelands Foundation Award.
This event will take place on the 4th floor LifeWear Floor of our flagship 311 Oxford Street store. The workshop is open to ticket holders aed over 18 only.
Our 4th LifeWear Floors can be accessed via the LifeWear lift adjacent to the store entrance, or alternative via escalator through the store.
Workshop attendees will receive a limited edition UNIQLO x Joy Gregory t-shirt and a £5 off voucher which is redeemable on any purchase made in store on the date of the workshop.
