Maison Mbosso throws their first ever event for the launch of their crowdfunding. The event is conveniently timed to bring together our beloved the fashion family as well as gathering Maison Mbosso’s community and friends. The event is a casual get-together accompanied with a lovely acoustic performance by Caleb Kunle and a lively DJ set by Kemi Lijadu. We are so very excited to share this event with you, to show you more of what Maison Mbosso is about and what we stand for.

Maison Mbosso is a tailor-made African Menswear brand; we offer luxurious contemporary authentic African clothes to the African and Diasporan man. Our authenticity comes through our long-term partnerships with incredibly talented African artisans as well as our collaborations with African Diasporan creatives. Our emphasis in on sustainability, slow and circular fashion, ethical practices and innovative fashion.
The brand just launched in 2022. We will start selling unique piece of our deadstock Muhimu line (our version of essentials made of deadstock materials) this year but hope to start fully trading with our tailor-made line too next year. This year, we are focusing on fundraising and exposure. At the moment, the full-time team is just me, Christèle Mbosso, but I am surrounded by a talented team of loyal freelancers, consultants and mentors.
The brand is all about slow, authentic and kinder fashion, that cares about its people and that tells a story of traditional crafts.
