Adobe Lightroom Classic is a very powerful photographic tool which, when used correctly, will save you incredible amounts of time. In this introductory workshop, Nick Rains, who has been using Lightroom for 15 years will explain his tried-and-tested methods of cataloguing and post-processing. The aim of this workshop is to give you a hands-on flying start to how the software should be used and thus help you become much more efficient in your workflow.

10.00am – 12.00pm: Classroom session. Nick will explain how Lightroom works and what you need to understand about cataloguing.

12.00pm – 1.00pm: Lunch (included).

1.00pm – 4.00pm: Practical session.  You will learn all about post processing and image sweetening. All raw or DNG images need some sort of adjustments to make them look pleasing to the eye. This need not be an overly complex process and Nick will walk you through the methods he uses  in his award winning documentary and travel work.

Please Note: This workshop covers Lightroom Classic, not the other versions of Lightroom such as Lightroom (Desktop or Online) or the iPad versions. Although there is considerable overlap, Lightroom Classic is considered the ‘Pro’ version and will help you to get the most out of your images.
