About Career Girl Collective
Career Girl Collective is an online community that aims to empower and educate women writers and journalists.
Career Girl Collective was founded by freelance journalist Lateefah Jean-Baptiste back in 2021. Lateefah created the platform out of her frustration at the lack of affordable resources and information available to aspiring and established working class women writers and journalists. Today, Career Girl Collective runs exclusively on Instagram and regularly posts tips, advice and job postings for women writers and journalists who want to elevate their careers.
About Women of The Wick
Women of the Wick is an independent feminist media building more equitable and creative cities through storytelling.
Women of the Wick started as a podcast series by writer and artist Sara Kärpänen in 2019, to document the personal stories by women and non-binary practitioners in East London. Today, Women of the Wick produces a bi-annual print magazine WOWZINE, Girl Get A Real Job podcast series, facilitates monthly workshops for creative freelancers, and works with entrepreneurs and partners across London.
