Open to all new Leica Camera owners, this workshop aims to equip you with the knowledge to get the absolute best out of your new camera so you can focus more on taking great pictures.

The workshop begins with a thorough introduction to the fundamentals of photography, covering the best approach to mastering aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focusing, composition and light metering.

Following this you will be given a tailored introduction to understanding your cameras menu system helping you to understand some of the hidden features and how to set your camera up perfectly for the pictures you want to take.

Once you are set up and comfortable with your camera you will be taken on a guided photo walk where you will be shown how put into practice the varying techniques discussed in the earlier session.

The workshop finishes with an introduction to the best practice for uploading and organising your images on the computer followed by an introduction to editing on Adobe Lightroom Classic or Capture One and a demonstration of best techniques for exporting your images for sharing, printing, or archiving.

This workshop is aimed at new Leica Camera owners of any skill level.

Whether you are completely new to photography or you have just upgraded your Leica this workshop is for you.

Please note, this workshop covers digital cameras only. If you are new to film photography or have just bought a Leica film camera please consider one of our bespoke 1-2-1 tutorials.
