Join us for an evening with skateboard photo archivist Dan Adams, illustrator Lizzie Heath, The Palomino founder Nick Sharratt and curator Tory Turk in a conversation about the creative world of skateboarding storytelling across printed and digital media.

What to expect
How do skateboarding communities share their stories through print and digital media? How has this practice changed since the 1980s? What are the links between skateboarding and creativity? What makes a compelling skateboarding zine, blog, comic or magazine?
These are some of the questions that will be addressed by photo archivist and graphic designer Dan Adams, illustrator and comic artist Lizzie Heath and skateboard media legend Nick Palomino in a conversation hosted by Associate Curator of the SKATEBOARD exhibition, Tory Turk.
This is an event for skateboard enthusiasts and anyone with an interest in independent publishing, zines, photography, graphic design, illustration and print and digital platforms as mediums for autonomous narratives.
