Join the Leica Akademie for this 3 hour introductory workshop that will aim to take you from a beginner photographer to knowledgable in the necessary technical and theoretical practices required to begin your exciting journey in photography.

Leica Akademie Tutor and photographer, Robin Sinha, will introduce you to the core technical elements of photography. You will learn the basics of aperture, shutter speed and iso and will be shown the correct techniques for proper exposure and focusing while also diving into composition techniques and tips for consistent image quality. Following this you will be introduced to the benefits of manual shooting modes, with demonstrations on how best to set up your camera for different styles of photography.

In this workshop our goal is to help you better understand the fundamental theories behind photography and your camera so you can begin to take great photos. The workshop is limited to 6 participants to allow adequate time for questions throught and for each participant to recieve plenty of 1-2-1 advise.

Participant requirements:

No previous photography experience is required but you must have access to a camera that allows some manual control (control over aperture, shutter speed and ISO).

Please note a Leica camera is not required for participation in this online workshop.
