Workshop
Poetry and Spoken Word (15-17s)
Organised by Roundhouse
Are you interested in poetry and spoken word? In this 3 day half term course, you’ll explore writing and performing and come away with original pieces of writing!
Whether you’re new to the artform or have some experience already, prefer writing over performing or vice versa this course will help you build confidence and skills in writing and performing.
Get inspired, get creative and expand your idea of what poetry can be!
You’ll be doing creative writing games and exercises to get your pen flowing. You’ll spend time getting to know the group, building a supportive space together to share your work in. Explore performance techniques and practice reading your work, so you can finish the course with a performance to your friends and family.
