COVID-19 has resulted in a significant increase in remote working in Ireland and other countries. Businesses need to be aware of the potential tax implications of having employees working remotely abroad and in Ireland.  Some of the issues that will be covered include whether relocated employees can create foreign corporate tax issues for your business, as well as the employment tax and social security (payroll tax obligations) issues that Irish and foreign businesses need to be aware of in relation to their remote workers. In addition to COVID specific issues, we will also discuss the common pitfalls companies experience in operating their payroll, as well as what benefits can employee can receive.

This event is taking place live from Dublin, Ireland. Please calculate the time difference if joining from elsewhere.
