Are you a creative entrepreneur or freelancer aged between 18-30? Do you often work from home or in coffee shops? We are opening our doors for you to become a Member of the Roundhouse Workspace Pilot on weekdays from 9.30am - 5.30pm for 13 weeks, for just £25. Apply by 12 Aug to access!
Come and work here every weekday, or just the days you need, meet fellow creatives, attend a dedicated programme of workshops to help you and your business grow, and hear from inspiring industry experts.
The Pilot Membership includes:
- Hot desking in an open plan workspace with fast and reliable WiFi
- Access to a programme of Skills Workshops, 1x1 Expert Drop-In Surgeries and Lunchtime Talks to help you with the practical side of being a creative entrepreneur or freelancer
- Social events to build your network and be part of a supportive network
- Free coffee and tea refreshments
- Dedicated onsite team to help support, guide and nurture your entrepreneurial or freelance goals
This is the pilot phase as we prepare to open our new shared workspace in February 2023. By becoming a pilot member, you’ll get the opportunity to feed back on how best the space can work for you and help shape the future of our new creative centre being built specifically for freelancers and entrepreneurs in the creative industries.
What are the important dates I need to know?
- Friday 12 August, 5pm : Application Form deadline
- Friday 2 September: Successful Candidates are notified
- Either Tuesday 13 or Wednesday 14 September : Mandatory Induction Session
- Thursday 15 September : Launch Event
- Monday 19 September : Roundhouse Workspace Pilot Opens
What will be expected of me?
- You must be available to attend one of the induction sessions and be able to come to the Launch Event
- You need to commit to using the workspace at least one day a week for the duration of the programme
- The workshops and events will be tailored to your freelance and business needs so we hope you attend as many as you possibly can
- Respect your fellow pilot members, make friends, collaborate and learn from each other!
